1-Day Installs vs. 2-Day Installs
While one-day installs may seem like a quick solution, they can lead to problems down the road. These rushed installations fail to mitigate for moisture because they use a quick-curing polyurea (or polyaspartic) as the direct-to-concrete primer coat (…so they can get the install completed in the promised “one day”).
But as great as these coatings are as top coats (providing extreme UV and chemical resistance), they’re poor primer coats, especially in the presence of concrete moisture. The thin, poorly-penetrating primer has a propensity to peel (delaminate) over time when exposed to high hydrostatic pressures as moisture wicks up through the porous concrete. (Which is why they won’t warrant “moisture-related issues”). This shorten the life of your floor and increase the possibility of costly repairs later on.

On day one, we prepare the concrete with diamond grinders to create the perfect canvas. We then apply our thick, slow-curing, moisture-mitigating base coat and broadcast your chosen flake blend into the “wet” primer. On day two, we apply two (not just one) 100%-solids polyaspartic topcoats, providing extra protection against UV rays, chemicals, and plasticizer migration. The result?
